Fab Find Friday

I think it would be great to live in a neighborhood where all my neighbors were crafty….we’d all share ideas and projects with one another.  If you needed a bit of extra adhesive or a dollop of paint you could come on over and we’d share.  Ok, I know I’m dreaming, but you know what….the wonderful world-wide web is kind of like that…especially the craft community.

Today I’m going to share with you one of my favorite crafty “neighbors”.  She consistently serve up inspiration both online and off…

Dina Wakley!

I originally saw Dina’s work on her blog and then eventually took her Graffiti Of My Life class online.  She’s a wonderful teacher that really encourages you to play, experiment, and have fun!  I love that she lays out her class so that you wind up with a fabulous project, yet learned a bunch of techniques throughout it.  She breaks the “homework” into really manageable chunks so that you’re able to actually get your project done too!!

Dina’s bio:

Hi, I am Dina Wakley. I live in the Arizona desert with my hubby and 3 boys. I love all things that have to do with paper, including scrapping, mixed media collage, and visual journaling. I love to travel, bake good bread, hang out with good friends, and read good books. I keep busy making projects for Jenni Bowlin StudiosMaya RoadKenner RoadKitschy Digitals{entreARTistes} magazine, and theCreative Therapy blog. I teach online art journaling classes at Get It Scrapped.  I’m a docent (tour guide) at the Phoenix Art Museum, and I enjoy being around wonderful art! You can visit me at my blog, http://dinastamps.typepad.com

Here’s some just a sampling of her scrapbook pages…please check out her blog for more.

Dina also does mixed media art journals, which I absolutely L.O.V.E!

Her scrapbooking pages are gorgeous. Sadly, I’m not a crafty person, so I can only enjoy the works of others.

    Hugs and Mocha,
