A Baby Quilt Fit For A Little Lady

Hi!  It’s Kendra here on this beautiful breezy sunny Tuesday.  I Hope that it is as beautiful in your neck of the words as it is in mine…

Some good friends of our were having their very first baby and my hubby thought it would be super special for me to make their soon to be new bundle of joy a Lady Bug quilt since that is her nursery theme.  Here is what I came up with using the Cricut Expression and The Walk In My Garden Cricut Cartridge…

The Lady Bug Quilt

A Close Up Of The Lady Bug!

To Finish off the theme I wrapped the quilt in Bug wrapping paper and made a card with my Cricut.  To me, it looks like the card turned out kind of looking a lot like a water lily!

Below is the .cut file so you can create your own

Lady Bug Applique  and Water Lily Card

The instructions  for the card are very basic and listed below.

When you have the components of your card cut out of white cardstock.  Use your finger to curl the petals of the flower up.  Glue the middle of the flower down leaving the petals free.  Be sure to glue in size order with the smallest flower left for the top.  Apply a little dots of yellow Liquid Applique to the center of the flower and heat it with a heat gun.  Apply to your package and enjoy!
