Pineapple Dressing Recipe Layout

Hi, it’s Kendra here and I am so excited to be bringing you one of my favorite holiday recipes and hope that it becomes a tradition at your home too.  It is excellent served with Ham and all the fixings!

In creating this layout, you will need a few supplies: Cricut Expression,  a 24×12 Cricut Mat, The Cricut Gypsy, Luau Cricut Cartridge, Creative Memories Stork’s Delivery Cricut Cartirdge, Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge, Yellow, Brown, Green American Crafts Cardstock and Luxe Designs Capris – Chives Paper.  You will also need the .gypsy file and the pdf of the recipe to print out:  both links are below

Here is the Recipe to print out:  Pineapple Dressing Recipe Printout By Kendra Wiggins

Here is the .gypsy file to upload:  Pineapple Dressing Recipe Gypsy File By Kendra Wiggins

  1. Download and cut the .gypsy file.  (You will not cut the page with everything overlapping.  This is just to show you placement.)
  2. The Words and Photo mat page will have a 4″x10″ piece of yellow cardstock, a 2″x10″ piece of brown cardstock and a 5″x7″ piece of Green Cardstock.
  3. The Pineapple Layer will have a piece of Yellow Cardstock, Green Cardstock and Brown Cardstock for the Pineapple layers.
  4. Once the Pineapple is completely layered and dried, cut it apart and glue the layers of the Pineapple to the 8″x8″ Capris – Chives Paper.
  5. Print off the recipe on the 3.5″x5.5″ piece of Green Cardstock; this is set to print in brown ink.
  6. Glue the Pineapple title in the appropriate place and using a brown fineline pen draw around the edges of the word defining each letter.
  7. Glue the Dressing part of the title down overtop of the Pineapple title.  Don’t forget the dot of the i.
  8. Print and glue the recipe in place and pen stitch around the recipe.  I use a dot dash dot pen stitch.
  9. Go back and pen stich around the Pineapple and the Pineapple tops.  Last but not least, sign your layout and you are ready to get Cooking!

Happy Scrappin’
