Add A Little Life To Your Washer And Dryer With Word Collage!

Hi, it’s Kendra here and I am so excited to be bringing you a really simple but cute idea to jazz up your laundy room.  I used the Word Collage Cricut Project Cartridge to add a little life my laundry room.   It was super simple to do.  All you need is 2 – 12×12 sheet of Green Vinyl, Cricut Transfer Tape, The Cricut Expression 2 Anniversary Edition Machine and the Word Collage Cricut Project Cartridge.

A peek inside my laundry room

With the Cricut Expression 2 Anniversary Edition Machine Select Fit to Page and using the Word Collage Cricut Project Cartridge, cut out the <Laundry> out of the Green Vinyl using the kiss cut settings.

Weed out the negative background and discard.

Using the transfer tape cut strips the height of the words and remove the words one at a time.

With a scraper, rub the words well before you remove the transfer tape.  When removing the transfer tape, be sure to go slowly making sure you have good adhesion.

I had to cut the image 2 times to get the word laundry twice.

I used the words Clean and Dirty on laundry baskets in my room so there was very little waste.

You can jazz up your washer and dryer even if they are not front loaders like mine.  Just place the words on the front of the washer and the door of the dryer for a little more color and life in your laundry room!

On my Washer I put “Wash Dirty Laundry”

Wash Dirty Laundry

and on my Dryer I put “Dry Clean Laundry”

Dry Clean Laundry

Happy Scrappin’
