Christmas in July clutch tutorial

Hi I’m Maggie Lamarre to share a fun tutorial on how to jazz up a clutch for the holidays! I was at a garage sale when I found this clutch and I knew right away I wanted to jazz it up.
It had a tag price of $2.00 but was able to bargain down to $1.00 with a few Cricut images, Prima bling and Stickle this purse can be sold for $24.99 at a gift shop 🙂
You can recreate that look by using a template or a punch if you don’t have a die cut machine.

Supplies:

  • Clutch, Prima rhinestone, Provo Craft Cricut Machine, Cricut Cartridge Sweetheart
  • Core’dination couture cardstock, Ranger Glossy accent, Stickle black diamond, Prima rhinestone and center

Instructions:

  • Cut 10 flowers  each in Black and white glitter cardstock in ascending orders 4.25”,4”,3.5”,3”,2.75”,2”,2.5”,1.5”
  • Add stickles to the edges of the white glitter cardstocks only, let dry

  • Assemble the flowers as seen below, adhere the prima center

  • Use glossy accent to adhere the flowers to the clutch.

  • Adhere the rhinestones using glossy accent to the bottom of the flowers to create interest.

Voila you are done! This holiday season you don’t have to use a boring clutch!
