DIY Halloween Gift Wrap

We are heading to a birthday party on October 29th with a Halloween theme and I thought it would be fun to make a festive Halloween gift bag for our present. Gift bags can be as much as $5-$8 and I wanted to make an inexpensive solution for our gift. We used the Cricut Essentials cartridge to make this fun bag – perfect for those Halloween birthday parties coming up.

1. Use the cricut expression to cut a 4.25″ circle from patterned paper. Then cut a 4″ scallop circle with fun glitter paper (The Cricut Expression 2 had no difficulties cutting through the glitter paper on the heavy settings).

2. Layer the scallop circle with foam pop dots for added dimension.

3. Cut a 1.5″ by 2″ rectangle from coordinating paper and use a corner rounder (I love the one from Fiskars) for the corners. Adhere with foam dots. Add “to” and “from” stickers.

4. Place a fun Halloween sticker next to the tag (this one is by K&Company).

I hope you enjoyed the project and have a great weekend!
