Imagine Notebook Doodles Cartridge Shoes

Cyndi of Lovely Lula Here. I LOVE the newest Imagine Cartridge called Notebook Doodles. Oh what fun I had.  I took an old pair of shoes, used white Gesso to cover them, allowed that to dry. I printed the little character designs onto iron on transfer paper. I then cut up the iron on paper and transferred it on to yellow cotton fabric and attached these patches to the shoe with glue. I then used Ranger Enamel Assents in black to outline the patches.

Happy crafting xoxo Cyndi aka Lovely Lula

Scrapbooking Tool Supply Spinner

Hello, it’s Kendra here this beautiful but very chilly Saturday Morning!  I am going to share with you a Scrapbooking Supply Tool Spinner that I made using the new Cricut Font and Basic Shapes Cartridge that comes with your Cricut Mini!  I also used the Labels Digital Exclusive cartridge to decorate the outside labels.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The Base is cut from Plywood that I used a Hexagon to cut the base and the platform out.  I purchased a Lazy Susan Spinner from Home Depot for less than $6.00!  The tubes are PVC couplings that were spray painted with Black Chalk Board Paint.  Vinyl was used to cut out the Labels that were attached but since it is spray painted with Chalk Board Paint, you can just label your items with chalk if you prefer!  I attached the couplings and the lazy susan spinner using apoxy.  I just love how it turned out and cannot wait to use it!

What kinds of projects would you make with your Cricut Mini?  I can’t wait to hear your ideas.  Be sure to think outside the box!  🙂

Snow Days Cartridge Gift Wrap

Cyndi of Lovely Lula here and I am excited to show this project I made using today’s Hello Thursday Cartridge called Snow Days that I paired with vintage holiday wrapping paper.

I first wrapped a plain white box top that I picked up at a paper supply store, with red holiday ribbon to give it more texture. I then used the Snow Days cart to cut a cute little bundled up kid shape out of the vintage paper. I cut several of them and glued them to the box.

I also made a coordinating card because really how could I resist?

The Cricut Mini Has Arrived

Cyndi of Lovely Lula here to share that the new Cricut Mini has arrived! Just in time for the Holidays. This little cutie is perfect for those of you who work in the medium of visual art journaling, like I do. It connects right to the Cricut Craft Room.

INTRODUCING
Cricut Mini™
Cricut Mini is a small, lightweight, ultra-portable way to make almost anything you want – out of many different types of materials, including thick and thin paper, fabric, vinyl, magnetic material, craft foil, and lots more. With Cricut Mini, it’s easier than ever to make projects and be more creative!
  • Small, portable, and lightweight for ultra space savings.
  • Works with any computer PC or MAC with a standard wireless or wired Internet connection.
  • Simply plug it in, turn it on, connect to Cricut Craft Room – the online design tool where you can see and design with every Cricut cartridge – and start making projects..
  • Cuts up to 8.5” x 12” paper and other materials. Cut small shapes and fonts from ¼” to larger cuts up to 11½”!

Here are where the cuts came from:

I used a green sharpie for the hand written part and a permanent glue stick to hold all the cuts in place. All of the paper is from Bazzill Basics.

I am excited to create my visual art journaling pages using this new little cutie. To see more of my Visual Art Journaling pages visit my Flickr page, all my visual art journaling pages are 8.5 x 11. Happy crafting xoxo Cyndi aka Lovely Lula

Cricut Circle Event in Greenville, SC Layout and Calling Cards!

Hi, it’s Kendra here this Wednesday with a couple of projects to show you in relation to the Cricut Circle Event in Greenville South Carolina this past weekend!  So, while I was there, I created a really cool layout to pass around and have everyone sign as a momento!  (I am still waiting on my photo to arrive to finish the layout off… Sorry!)

The layout and Calling Cards were created using the brand new Go Canada! Cricut Cartridge and the Everyday Cricut Cricut Cartridge.

I also used the Cricut Circle Cuttlebug Embossing Folder

Here are my finished cards to share with you all!  I love how they turned out!
