Cyndi of Lovely Lula Here. I used this weeks Hello Thursday Cartridge called Scandinavian Christmas Cards to create a Scandinavian Christmas Tree Skirt. I used my Cricut and the Scandinavian Christmas Cards Cartridge to cut fabric, that I back with heat and bond. I changed the direction of the reindeer so that I had one facing left and one facing right and in the center I place the holiday tree. I ironed it on to a large piece of ochre yellow wool felt that I cut into two half rounds and sewed together, it closes with pieces of Velcro. I finished it off by adding green cotton ribbon to the edge and a few bows. Now I just need all my holiday goodies down from the attic. Where’s the ladder?!

Cyndi of Lovely Lula here. Summer time in Arizona is really like January in Minnesota, only brown instead of white. We lack living vegetation and long for flowers, which we’ll have to wait until February to see. So I decided to use the Flower Shoppe Cartridge to create a Felt Bouquet. These are also all pins so they have a dual purpose! I used my Cricut to cut card stock to use as templates to cut out the felt pieces. I also used my Cuttlebug and some of the flower dies to cut out the felt flower shapes. Once I glued all the felt pieces together with Tacky Glue, I attached vintage buttons and then glued pin backs to all of the flowers. They are ready to wear or gift.

Cyndi of Lovely Lula Here. I used the Girls Makeup Party Cartridge to create a sleep mask. I cut card stock shapes on the Cricut and used those as templates to cut out the felt pieces. I layered them and sewed them together in a random stitched pattern. I then made T-Shirt yarn, threaded it through holes that I punched on the sides. I wound the yarn on the top to make rosettes and glued them down. Sassy eyelashes – sound to sleep!

As I am working on spiffing up my entire office area I decided I needed to make a new mouse pad.
This little number is so super cute stuff! I used my Cricut and the Create-A-Critter cartridge to cut the hedgehog design out of layers of felt and fabric that I then sewed together to make a perfect desktop companion.

Little Chicky Stocking
I made a cute little chicky Christmas Stocking for my baby daughter using the Cricut with the Create-A-Critter cartridge and the Tie the Knot cartridge. I pared these with wool felt and a few fun embellishments to make a cute little stocking. When my oldest daughter was born four years ago I made on for her too so now it is a tradition. Oh what fun!
