Scrapbooking Tool Supply Spinner

Hello, it’s Kendra here this beautiful but very chilly Saturday Morning!  I am going to share with you a Scrapbooking Supply Tool Spinner that I made using the new Cricut Font and Basic Shapes Cartridge that comes with your Cricut Mini!  I also used the Labels Digital Exclusive cartridge to decorate the outside labels.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The Base is cut from Plywood that I used a Hexagon to cut the base and the platform out.  I purchased a Lazy Susan Spinner from Home Depot for less than $6.00!  The tubes are PVC couplings that were spray painted with Black Chalk Board Paint.  Vinyl was used to cut out the Labels that were attached but since it is spray painted with Chalk Board Paint, you can just label your items with chalk if you prefer!  I attached the couplings and the lazy susan spinner using apoxy.  I just love how it turned out and cannot wait to use it!

What kinds of projects would you make with your Cricut Mini?  I can’t wait to hear your ideas.  Be sure to think outside the box!  🙂

Floral Emporium Baby Wall Hanging!

Hi everyone how are you? I just came back from an amazing weekend and I created this adorable wall hanging before I left but it did not get posted. I used the new Floral Emporium imagine cartridge and one of the basic shapes included on the imagine machine. The chose two pattern papers and the coordinating solid pink on the cartridge to create the cute little onsie.

Tip and trick: to decorate the onsie I used artificial flowers and flower trim green cut in half to create the diaper.

I hope everyone is having a great day

The “It Takes Two” Party Plate!

Hi, it’s Kendra here again for Octobers Hello Thursday Release!  When I was opened my box from Provo Craft, and saw the Noah’s ABC Animals Cricut Cartridge, I absolutely fell in love.  This cartridge is just so amazing!  I loved all of the animals and the phrases were just too cute!  When trying to think of different ideas I knew I wanted to create projects with Cardstock, Patterned Paper, Fabric, the Yudu and Vinyl.  This is my Vinyl project!

I thought this would just be adorable for a fun wedding shower or even a baby shower.  The plate itself is clear and the Charger it is setting on was purchased for only $1 from Michaels!  I created this project for Provo Craft.  You should be able to create this project for yourself.  The directions will be available on www.Cricut.com!

Santas Village Cartridge Decor

Cyndi of Lovely Lula Here. This week for Hello Thursday I used the Imagine Cartridge called Santas Village. I paired this with a very cool paper called Lazertran Inkjet Waterslide Decal Paper. You can print right onto this paper using your Imagine.

The next step is to cut around the image you want to use, dip it into a bowl of water and the decal front peels away from the paper backing. You can then place the decal onto any ceramic surface and once it drys it is attached. So I used this method to create three cool ceramic wall tiles.

I also added Japanese Washi Tape at the bottom and sealed the whole tile with a clear acrylic varnish. I still have all my Halloween decorations up but this really gets me excited for Christmas.

Growl Rumble Roar! Tiger Baby Quilt

Hi, It’s Kendra here on this October Hello Thursday and I am so excited to bring you the Growl Rumble Roar Tiger Baby Quilt. It was so much fun to create! You are going to find that the Noah’s ABC Animals is a cartridge you are going to want to purchase! Be sure to check back throughout the whole week for lots of more amazing projects!

It is so soft and cuddly with a cow print fleece on the back and bright, colorful fun fabrics on the front!

The words Growl Rumble Roar! going down the side create just a little extra fun and a little more color and texture.

Once the hand embroidering was completed I machine stippled the entire quilt with free motion quiting.

This project used the Cricut Expression 2, Noah’s ABC Animals and multiple colors of fabric and fleece for the backing! Hope you create one of these for your own little one or as a gift! This cartridge was so much fun to work with and is an absolute must have for your Cricut Cartridge Library! 🙂
