Cyndi of Lovely Lula Here. I have been going snow globe crazy this year! I have made several of them and there are more lined up awaiting my attention. Visit Lovely Lula to see other snow globes I’ve made. For this one I picked up a snow globe ready form from Urban Outfitter. For the inside design I cut the snow monster out of the Imagine Cartridge called Santas Village. I used the Winter Lace cartridge for the snow flakes and cut it out of white paper. The package was from a sticker set I had laying around. I think this guy is the cutest thing!

Hi, it’s Kendra here again on this wonderful Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I know I did with the launch of the Cricut Expression 2 with HSN! It was great chatting with so many of you…I hope I inspired you to take the plunge and purchase the CE2. You are going to just love it!
Design on a Dime is the theme this week and boy oh boy did I have the perfect fixer-upper! I had purchased on old vanity desk last summer that came with a chair. The chair was upholstered with the most hideous awful brown fabric and my youngest daughter refused to even have it in her room. If I put it in there she would carry it back to the garage! Well, did I fix that today! I started out with a piece of cotton quilt batting and drew a straight line on it, down the center. I then took strips of fabric that coordinate with her room and started sewing them in random order using the straight line as a starting point to keep the sewing straight.
Using the Cricut Expression 2, Black, Green and Hot Pink Fabric and Heat-N-Bond, I cut the cat from the Cricut American Alphabet out at 10 inches in.
Black Cross Stitch Thread was then used to Blanket Stitch around the Cat. Once this was complete, the cat was centered on the seat and using a Power Shot Stapler and the seat board was upholstered. I still am going to be painting the chair white…but that is for another day!
When I went to put the chair away, Anika told me to be careful with it, she did not want it ruined! I believe that means I had SUCCESS! What do you all think?

Happy Wednesday I have been working overtime on getting my kiddos ready for school. I also have been working on some new classes at my creative classroom gearing up for fall semester. I also have a couple secret projects that have been taking up a lot of time. I hope everyone has had a great week so far and ready to get your craft on. I love the dollar store for glass wear, candles, and so much more. Today i chose to take plain glass votive and turn them into adorable fashion statements for my craft space. I love the Imagine and printable vinyl. The Teresa Collins Black and White cartridge is perfect for all my studio decor. I printed the demask pattern out at 6 inches. I did this so I could attach the pieces in two parts. i cut the pieces down to 2×6 and wrap the holder. than using ribbon and velvet litter trim wrapped the bottom of the votive and the top. I added a bow to one and red roses to the other. This project was easy and fun and really turned those boring glass votives into pieces of art.
12×12 imagine mat
ribbon,trim and flowers
1 set of 2 votives the dollar store.
have fun creating and have a super creative day.

Victorian Hat Box created with using Teresa Collins new cartridge Vintage Demask. I created this project for April’s Hello Thursday. I wanted to create a project to give to my mother for Mother’s day. This week is all about flowers and paper so this project is perfect for this week. I am hoping that you will find this project inspiring and I would love to see your creations.
Viva décor Inka Gold
Viva décor Pearl pens
12×12 white cardstock
Ribbon in brown and pink
Paint the 10 inch hat box chocolate brown and let it dry. From the vintage damask cartridge print out the papers (brown damask pattern, pink damask pattern, and the pink stripe pattern) on white cardstock. Trace the lid onto the backside of the brown damask paper cut it out and glue to the lid. To make sure the edge is smooth sand the edges and then ink the edges in dark brown. Then cut out 2 of the decorative designs in chipboard paint the platinum paint on the chipboard. Then ink the edges glue one on the front of the box and one on the top. Cut out multiple scallop circles and cut the circles in the spiral pattern. Roll the spiral up into a circle, and create the circle flower with the scallop edge at top. Make 5 spiral flowers in different sizes and then create 2 paper twisted roses. Place the 2 on the outer edges of the damask chipboard pieces. Layer in the spiral flowers to create the pattern, and then cut out 2 scallop circles 3in and 2.5in glue the layers together and add a large spiral flower. This is the center piece on the lid. On the lid add the lace to the inside of the hat box, and then add the velvet ribbon to the top of lid lip. Finally add a pink sheer ribbon to the bottom edge of the box.
If you would like to learn how to make these flowers and so many more come take my All about flowers classes 2 and 3.
Have a Super Creative Day

Teresa Collins Baby Boutique I love this cartidge. I created this quick and fun project you will only spend th 5.00 on the frame and 2 sheets of white cardstock, a piece of ribbon, sequins, and Viva Decor Pearl Pens. I always need a present that speaks volumes and is quick to make. as a designer, teacher, author, and mother, I stay super busy and making presents for friends that take hours to create is just not in my time budget anymore. So this project is for all those out there like me. I hope you are having an amazing Easter.
To create the shadow box uses a 5.5×5.5 shadow box from Ikea. Cut out the background paper which is the girl words paper in the square shape with the rounded edges at 6.0 inches and attach to the bottom part of the frame. This will be larger than the frame trim off the excess. Cut the scallop shape from the cartridge at 5 inches and attach to the girls word paper on pop dots. Cut the baby carriage out in layers at 4.5 inches add pop dots to the different layers to create a 3 dimensional effect center the carriage in the middle. Finishing touches add the Viva pearl pens in salmon to the stroller and the frame. To step it up add the ribbon around the inner edge and then the sequins trim. I also added the pearl pens to the centers of the sequins. That’s it I would love to see what you do with Teresa’s new baby Cartridge. I love making cute little gifts for the mommy to place in the baby’s room. I love how the designs are sweet but still have the vintage elegance I love.
Have a great day,
