Introducing Erin

Hi everyone!   I’m so happy to be apart of Mixology Crafts!   I can’t wait to share project with you that will help you utilize your ProvoCraft tools and help you to think outside of the box.

I’m going to start by sharing with your where I create.   It’s not my ideal crafting space, but it’s what I’m using now that we’re renting after selling our home.  My space could best be described as small and stuffed!  I filmed this video of my space for you without cleaning up…so you’ll see my embarrassing clutter!  (Now don’t go and call that Hoarder’s show and tell them that you found someone new for them!!)  I wanted to give you a real life peek into my studio and show you that you don’t need a huge space in order to create great things.

In the video you’ll also notice that I have a hodgepodge of storage containers.   Since we’re renting our home right now I know that this space is only temporary and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on storage solutions that might not work for me once we move so I just used what we had on hand.

Now a couple of things that you don’t see in the video are my sewing machine and my Yudu.  Both of them I use on my kitchen table and store them away when I’m not using them.  Did you know the Yudu fits in one of those  Ziploc Big Bags?  Yep, it does.  I put mine in one of those and put it under the futon in my office when I’m not using it.

Ok, so now that I’ve showed you my craft space I’d love to see yours…leave me a link if you have photos or video up online. And if you don’t have photos up just tell me about yours…is it big or small? Does it meet your current needs?

PS – Feel free to stop by my blog and check out some of my craft projects I’ve made.

Introducing Cyndi aka Lovely Lula

Hi and welcome to Mixology Crafts.  I look forward to bringing some fun and funky projects your way. My studio is in Tempe, Arizona surrounded by both desert and city – the best of both worlds.  It is a converted carport that has been enclosed to make a perfect crafting space. I share my life with my husband Jeremy , daughters Olive and Hattie Rose and our dog Mole’.  The projects you can expect from me will include a lot of bright colors, layering and a great deal of found goodies mixed in. I am looking forward to this fun new adventure.
