Imagine Notebook Doodles Cartridge Shoes

Cyndi of Lovely Lula Here. I LOVE the newest Imagine Cartridge called Notebook Doodles. Oh what fun I had.  I took an old pair of shoes, used white Gesso to cover them, allowed that to dry. I printed the little character designs onto iron on transfer paper. I then cut up the iron on paper and transferred it on to yellow cotton fabric and attached these patches to the shoe with glue. I then used Ranger Enamel Assents in black to outline the patches.

Solar System Tote bag!

It’s Kendra here and I need to apologize for being so late.  I have had a houseful of sick kiddos and I am definitely running behind.

My project this week is a Solar System Tote bag that was created with the Solar System CCR Exclusive Digital Images a tie-dyed t-shirt and “white” blue jean fabric, Blue and Green Fabric and Steam-a-Seam.

I wanted to create the bag with a little surprise inside.  Thus the Earth inside.

My daughter Anika was so excited when she saw this bag.  She cannot wait to start using it.  🙂

What would you use this Digital Cartridge to make?  I can’t wait to hear!

Christmas Countdown

Cyndi of Lovely Lula Here. I know I should be putting up a post about Thanksgiving this week but I am just so excited about Christmas this year I am just gonna skip right on over it and get the countdown going! I created the “Days til’ Christmas” sign using the Winter Frolic Cartridge for the font out of silver vinyl and Winter Lace cartridge for the snow flakes out of white paper. The stripes of green paper and the white snow flakes are all Bazzill Basics.

The area to write the days on is a large circle of chalk board vinyl and we’ll count the days down with chalk.

Snow Days Cartridge Gift Wrap

Cyndi of Lovely Lula here and I am excited to show this project I made using today’s Hello Thursday Cartridge called Snow Days that I paired with vintage holiday wrapping paper.

I first wrapped a plain white box top that I picked up at a paper supply store, with red holiday ribbon to give it more texture. I then used the Snow Days cart to cut a cute little bundled up kid shape out of the vintage paper. I cut several of them and glued them to the box.

I also made a coordinating card because really how could I resist?

  • Cuts up to 8.5” x 12” paper and other materials. Cut small shapes and fonts from ¼” to larger cuts up to 11½”!

Here are where the cuts came from:

I used a green sharpie for the hand written part and a permanent glue stick to hold all the cuts in place. All of the paper is from Bazzill Basics.

I am excited to create my visual art journaling pages using this new little cutie. To see more of my Visual Art Journaling pages visit my Flickr page, all my visual art journaling pages are 8.5 x 11. Happy crafting xoxo Cyndi aka Lovely Lula
