Scandinavian Christmas Santa Baby Onsie!

Here is the suprise I promised you!  Kendra here with an adorable Christmas project for your little one that would also be perfect for a gift!  You could even cut this out larger for a festive Adult t-shirt/ Sweat Shirt or even a great wall hanging!   Just use your imagination!

This is a great way to take the Scandinavian Christmas Card Seasonal Cartridge and create something a little unexpected!

Materials Needed:  Cricut Expression, Scandinavian Christmas Cards, White, Red, Black and Skin Fabrics, Fusible Fabric Adhesive, Cross Stitch Thread, Ironing and Ironing Board.

You will cut the Santa and all his layers at 8.5 inches.  The Onsie I used was a 0-3 months.

For larger Onsies, you can adjust the size of your Santa up.

When you create this as a gift, be sure to do a blanket stitch around the edge of the Santa.  I am in a right hand cast all the way to my thumb and a needle and thread to not cooperate with a cast!

Jazz Up Your Backyard With The Crocs Rule Bird House

Hi!  It’s Kendra here again with a great idea to jazz up the outside of your house!  This adorable bird house was super simple to make with just a few supplies.

The Cricut Expression, The Crocs Rule Cricut Lite Cartridge, Pre-painted Birdhouse(I purchased mine at Tuesday Morning) various colors of cardstock, Liquid Laminate by Beacon, something to cover your surface and a paint brush.

The little birds are cut at 2.5 inches and are applied to the surface of the birdhouse using Beacon’s Liquid Laminate with a paintbrush.  When using this product, be sure to cover your entire surface with protection or you will laminate your work surface!!!

When I applied the birds to the surface, I did it one layer at a time using only the Liquid Laminate.  No glue was required.  When all the layers were applied, I covered the entire surface with the 3 coats liquid laminate and letting it dry between coats.

This project is safe for outside use per Beacon!  🙂
